Commitment to Sustainability and Energy Savings

Ellis Furniture continuously invests in advanced machinery and has adopted an environmental policy that includes a program for energy savings. Engineering Manager Paul Dudley, who leads their drive for energy efficiency, notes, "Electrical usage is one of our biggest costs, and we identified dust extraction as a major source of electricity consumption. Our 65,000 sq. ft. machining and panel production facility uses twelve extraction fans, ranging in size from 11kW to 55kW."

Ecogate: The Key to Optimized Energy Efficiency

Authorized Ecogate installer Dust Control Systems Ltd. assessed and installed the Ecogate system at Ellis Furniture. Although the company did not receive an incentive for the project, they proceeded due to the system's impressive energy efficiency capabilities.

What sold the Ecogate system to me was its simplicity, with very little to go wrong whilst the extraction is not compromised at all. - Paul Dudley, Engineering Manager, Ellis Furniture

Ecogate successfully reduced both peak demand and total kWh use across all systems, ultimately lowering Ellis Furniture's total electricity bill by 20%.
